Hi, I've owned this machine for more than four years. Recently, I replaced the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and case, but... Before proceeding, you need some background. When I first got it, it was incredibly powerful according to the specs. It could be one of the top builds you could build on that budget. On the flip side, during operation it seemed... underwhelming. I don’t have older benchmark results, but I recall my CPU and GPU were roughly 10% below average for those configurations, which already feels significant. That was before any overclocking adjustments. When I tweaked some components, it became clear an upgrade was necessary. Not just the CPU had a 15% bottleneck compared to the GPU, but overall performance felt sluggish. It’s worth mentioning that I’ve always experienced these kinds of issues, and maybe it was just my system. Anyway, today I decided to run a Cinebench test again, and the scores were slightly lower than expected... Anyway, I really hope it’s just me, and that there isn’t a deeper problem, since I know Windows is notorious for its limitations on AMD CPUs.

The setup was 5800x3d, achieved a win rate of 10, and performed much better than expected. Results were stronger than typical reviews suggest, especially when using undervolt settings.
