Uncertain about the original post, but I confirmed my response suggested a more Windows 8 feel. AAC is too powerful for Steam.

It makes sense given the size of iTunes and its popularity, so adding MP3 should have been a priority. I prefer AAC over MP3 for better quality.

It's always been my preference for AAC before I stopped using it. Apple thinks AAC is a superior lossy format compared to MP3... so that's what I did.
