I believed GTA V was initially designed for PC since I noticed screenshots of it on that platform before seeing the console versions. Maybe I was mistaken, but I assumed they were delaying it due to the Pirates. Arrggghhh!
They delayed their decision in case they could resell the game multiple times to the same buyers. It's working out well. There are also many pirates available on consoles.
Pirates are all around, that's what they say. I wasn't expecting the PC release, but I'll keep waiting until it becomes cheaper on Steam.
I’d love to find out where and when R* made that move. I’m planning to search online now, though I’m pretty sure this is just exaggerated news since similar stories have already been shared many times on the forum. Being a non-port built for the platform would really position R* as the top gaming company in 2014!
