It seems Google has halted its bug fixes, support is unsure how to proceed, and their Community Forum restricts content.

TL;DR
The phone number left after deleting my Waymo account stays linked to my Google Account. Even Google doesn’t know why.
Long ago, I used a temporary number when signing in to Waymo. It was automatically added to my Google account with my main number. I can’t remove it now. On the Personal Info page, the Delete option is missing for this number. The Usage section only shows Waymo details.
I verified it isn’t used for recovery, 2-step verification, dark web reports, or Google Voice. After switching to my main number in the Waymo app and deleting the account, the Usage section still lists Waymo.
Now I have no access to this number—it’s likely being recycled. Being unable to remove it is a major issue.
I reached out to Waymo support via their form, but they advised contacting Google Support instead. Official Google Support said there was nothing they could do and suggested using the feedback option.
When I sent my feedback, even selecting “We may email you for more info or updates” didn’t result in a response or fix.
I also tried posting on the Google Account Community, but my post (with no personal data) got flagged as a duplicate of unrelated content and wasn’t visible outside my account.
I’m puzzled—am I doing something wrong? This company seems unreliable and unresponsive. Internally, they made confusing UI changes, like forced translations in search results and YouTube titles, and even corrected typos on the search bar. But this situation is unacceptable.
For your reference, I’ve shared my tickets and two community posts.

Please cancel any third-party permissions linked to Google.
Visit your Google Account management page (myaccount.google.com) and log in if asked.
Select "Security" from the left menu.
Move down to "Your connections to third-party apps and services" and choose "See all connections."
Locate Waymo in the list and tap it.
Proceed to delete all connections associated with Waymo.
Confirm your decision to remove this link.
In a last resort, I might create another Google account and move your data there. After that, you can either remove the existing one or enable Google Advanced Account Protection, which significantly complicates recovery without a registered security key. Usually, for major companies providing free services, if you encounter an issue beyond their automated solutions, success is unlikely. Some users report better results by paying for the service and having access to customer support.
Thank you for your feedback. Moving to a different Google account isn't feasible since it's not possible to fully transfer my Google Play purchases. Concerning the issue you described, being a Google One subscriber means I'm already paying them, but I haven't received any help from support. It might be an edge case or they aren't prioritizing this request. You can find my support tickets in the first post, which feels like I'm speaking to a wall or an early AI assistant.
In the future, I'll have no option but to switch all my Gmail-related services to another provider and reduce my reliance on this account. I'm also planning to cancel my subscription.
No, there are no delete and edit options for this number.
