You're experiencing high temperatures with your new 5800X setup. The cooling solution you're using—Cooler Master ML240L V2, two extra fans, and the MSI X570 A Pro—seems solid. Your previous setup with Vetroo V5 and lower voltages didn't help. Checking for background processes, thermal paste wear, or fan alignment might be next steps. The RM750x Corsair PSU should handle it, but ensure it's delivering stable power.

The processor runs very hot, and it's hard to avoid this issue. My 3100 model also stalls at 49°C.

Poor connection between cooler and pump, loop has buildup, room is hot. These factors could help but the issue might be the chip itself—Ryzen 5000 tends to get hot. My 5800X sits at 30°C after using curve optimizer with an EK 360 AIO. Still, only full load matters, not gaming tasks. As long as all core speeds and temps stay stable on a Cinebench test, idle temps shouldn’t be a concern.

I test Cinebench R20 with a Ryzen Master and reach up to 81 degrees, while gaming performance drops to 60.

Are you adjusting the voltage yourself? In standby mode, the CPU should stay under 1V. Continuously pushing 1.25V will cause overheating.

You can adjust the settings to control voltage. Offset is an option you should explore for fine-tuning. Check the manual or documentation for specific steps on your board.

For Ryzen 5000 and PBO2 systems, the Curve Optimizer offers impressive features. It's a powerful tool with modern undervolting capabilities.

It's a great idea, really. It started with that video, but I also dove into many more resources. I gained a lot of knowledge. The video gives a basic overview, but it really gets you started.
