Hello, the title basically explains the situation. The laptop was turned off, had no power source, and when I powered it back on, it restarted as if it were still in standby, showing a message that it had been on for over a day. It had been unplugged and lacked a battery. Could you help figure out what might be going on? Thank you ahead of time.

Even without any battery or power source, it's still possible to operate something if it's connected through other means.

This feature activates when you wish to disable it. Access the Control Panel, then Hardware and Sound. Go to Power Options, edit your plan settings, select Advanced power settings, choose Sleep mode, and set Hibernate to 0 for devices that are connected or have power.
