With GPU prices so high these days, the T600 looks like a solid choice for launching games but raises questions about its performance for more demanding tasks like rendering.

It really isn't. The chip has 28% fewer cores and clocks that are lower than a 1650, making it roughly one-third slower. Some iGPUs render these cards useless for games. For final export rendering, it's just as bad as before. Nvidia does support Quadro with software, but unless you're running a Quadro-only job, the 1650 will still outperform it.

It features 640 CUDA cores, aligning with the GTX 1050. With GDDR6 technology, it offers marginally better memory bandwidth. Considering its power usage (40w compared to 75w), I anticipate comparable performance at most.

I'm just beginning in video editing and I'm looking for a better solution. Right now I have a GT 710, which isn't great. I'm considering the T600 but think a T1000 or 1650 would be better if I can get one.

Didn't test the 1050, so I don't know how it performs in Premier Pro.

Video encoder concept? The T600 uses Pascal’s 10-series video encoder, similar to the 1650. A 1050 with 2GB could offer a more affordable option.

Sure, you might find it simpler to locate reference points.
