Hey everyone! I've been facing a bothersome issue while gaming on my PC lately. It seems I'm experiencing frequent "microstutters" and unexpected FPS drops. People have suggested that my RAM might be the culprit... First, let's look at my setup: an i5 8600K with 4.7GHz clock speed, RX Vega 56 Nitro+ with overclocked 16GB DDR4 RAM at 3200MHz, running on a 3200MHz EVGA 650GQ graphics card. I've shared some videos showing the problem—there are clear FPS drops in games like Detroit: Become Human around 00:09, 00:12, and 00:13. I've already tried a clean install, removed the CPU, GPU, and RAM overclock at once, reinstalled the game on different drives, and even tested the RAMs. The results were mixed, but I'm still concerned it might be related to RAM. Have anyone seen similar signs? What adjustments should I make if this continues?
There’s a video showing similar occurrences with Frametime graphics. It’s unclear if this is typical, but you might want to check if a specific piece of hardware is causing the issue. A diagnostic tool could help identify whether the problem lies in a particular component.
