The Asus VG27A screen randomly turns black during gaming or web browsing. Pressing the monitor off and on seems to resolve the issue. Your friend also has the same monitor with identical problems. After restarting the monitor, Windows loses connection and all apps move to another display. You've tried changing the cable, but it hasn't helped.

Consider alternative display ports for your GPU or utilize your IGPU port if available.

I changed my GPU from 970 to 2070 Super and used this monitor, but the issue kept happening with both. It’s still unpredictable and usually occurs only after about a week, though I don’t recall it before then.

Do you possess the monitor driver available? https://www.asus.com/displays-desktops/m...ing-VG27AQ
Which graphics card are you using? What is the most recent GPU firmware or vBios version?

I've installed the latest drivers now. My RTX 2070 is running at full potential.

Did you review the event viewer logs? Look for messages indicating graphics drivers stopped and then resumed, such as "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered."
