In my view, they've managed a rather poor effort so far to highlight how Hardline stands out more than Battlefield 4. Unless they present something truly surprising, this will likely be something I'd avoid.

Linus intends to harm you, regretfully. It's accurate that Valve typically raises prices to $3-4 for CS:GO during major promotions.
Big sale kicks off tomorrow and CS:GO will definitely drop significantly soon. Comparing BF4 to CS:GO is quite different. CS is a slower, more technical FPS with tighter maps, while BF is an arcade-style experience on larger maps. You should be able to play it smoothly on Ultra (or even higher settings) and maintain over 60 FPS. If you're unsure, check out some Twitch streams to see how CS is played. But BF4 for $10 offers a great value, particularly if you already enjoy it.
