I changed the Wi-Fi adapter and turned off my computer, then powered it down completely. After ensuring all power was cut, I noticed that my SSD wasn’t being recognized as the top boot priority. Right before this, unrelated to the Wi-Fi card, it failed to detect me when I tried to boot. So when I started, I was told I needed a media device connected, which I resolved. This isn’t connected, but I thought it might be worth mentioning. Now everything seems fine except it won’t turn on at all. I’ve replaced the socket, plugged in the AC cable, and even tried clearing CMOS or using another power supply, but nothing worked. This is really frustrating because I have a stable custom loop running smoothly for two months now. My specs: Ryzen 3700X, Gigabyte X470 Ultra Gaming GPU, RTX 2080, 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB at 3000MHz, Samsung EVO 250GB SSD, 2x 1TB Samsung QVO 1TB HDD. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Are you linked to a surge protector? Verify the breaker wasn't tripped and check the circuit breaker for your computer's power source. Consider testing another outlet. It might help to plug into a different one and observe. If unsure, inspect the main power cables for any disconnections while making adjustments. Also examine the modular PSU for issues. Try connecting across the power switch pins or the motherboard power button to see if that works... sometimes switches fail.
