Hi, I use Skrill for my money and every time I try to log in, it asks me to confirm my new device. That feels weird because the device and my IP address are always exactly the same as before. This started after I installed a VPN and sometimes connected to another country. Now, it looks like my IP and device keep changing all the time. Also, when trying to pay on Skrill, it says that payments aren't allowed from your country. Before I had this problem because of the VPN. When I check my IP address, it shows Austria everywhere and everything is registered there, so nothing ever went wrong with that. But when I go to other websites, they ask if I want English or US settings if you enter them correctly... on the VPN, I always connect to the United States. So it seems like I have two active IPs fighting each other? I don't know what's going on. Does anyone have a fix for this? I run Windows 10.

So if you use a VPN to hide yourself, it makes sense that you are now hidden from Skrill too. Skrill can't link your login or activity to the old phone anymore. "Remember my device" might be useless at some point in this process...

I don't use Skrill with my VPN. This problem only happens when I turn off the VPN. It started after I used it a few times, and even though I turned the VPN back on, the issue kept coming back.

Get in touch with Skrill support. They can help you get back into your account or figure out what's going on if the issue started because of using a VPN.
