Hello! I found out there are two board types: Daisy Chain and T-Topology. People say the Daisy Chain works better with two memory modules, while the T-Topology suits four. Some online sources mention the Z390 Aorus Master as a T-Topology model. I couldn’t locate a clear reference for this board. For my music workstation, I use a PC and don’t enable memory XMP since it’s PnP. I don’t think speed is crucial for me, but I need more RAM—from 32GB to 64GB. Questions: 1. Is the Z390 Aorus Master classified as T-Topology? 2. How can I verify its topology type? 3. Are there other important details I should consider?

I might have remembered this before. Otherwise I’d have mentioned T-topology, unless it was also asked on Reddit and I assumed it was resolved. Daisy chain boards can be frustrating since you need to determine which of the two matching bank slots (like A1/B1 or A2/B2) works best with two sticks. To my knowledge, all four-slot Z390 Gigabyte boards use T-topology.
