The boards are described as micro-ATX on both sites, but their physical dimensions differ from what you expect. Since your goal is a compact build, consider the official specs carefully before deciding between Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX.

The AsRock model isn't clear from what I see—it seems taller than the Matx but narrower. The Asus version appears identical, though I'm uncertain. It resembles an Intel board from the 775 days I mentioned, which I thought was a mini ATX, but I don’t have the name.

mATX supports dual connectivity, while Mini-ITX features a single PCI-e port and a compact size of 17x17cm.
