I’ve noticed some problems with my PC’s performance and frame consistency lately. I’m unsure if there’s a hidden issue or bottleneck, even though I believe my system is solid and should handle 1440p well. I run all games at 1080p, which matches the monitor I have. For instance, in Escape from Tarkov I rarely hit 50fps on low settings, not even at high, while Borderlands 3 and Dying Light 3 show huge swings from 120 to 30 fps. Even with higher settings, limiting frames to 100 causes drops and makes the game feel unstable. Additionally, my CPU isn’t boosting as expected—it’s stuck at 3.6 GHz despite being advertised for 4.4 GHz. I have a Ryzen 7 3700X, Corsair 240mm AIO, ASUS B450F Gaming II, Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 3070, 16GB of DDR5 at 3600MHz, and a Cosmos 850W PSU. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
