I'm updating my PC with a CPU, Mobo, and RAM. This happened because the internet stopped working twice a few months ago. After rebooting, I saw in Event Viewer that the Ethernet card failed at hardware level and Windows couldn't fix it. My keyboard stopped being recognized, but connecting it to a different USB resolved the issue and allowed it to work normally. I made a backup of my Windows drive, but Reflect verification failed. I'm hoping this will last until the parts arrive, but I really need a second opinion—maybe three or more.
Internet issues followed by USB problems—likely just the motherboard acting up. It's hard to predict if things will get worse.
I’m not entirely sure, but it seems like the IO chip on the motherboard might not be working properly or there could be a problem with the CPU. I might attempt a CPU reseat, since bad contact could be causing these issues, though it’s unlikely. It probably points to an issue with an IO controller, but I’m relying on advice from someone online. Hope everything works out!
