I’ll keep running Memtest86 until the end of the week and consider purchasing a new cooler for my CPU. I’ve observed that during freezes, my disk activity in Task Manager shows the primary drive (Kingston 480GB SSD) reaching full usage, then returning to normal when the PC unfreezes. Could this be contributing to the freezing issue? Might it be related to a faulty SSD?
Windows is available on the official Microsoft website, and the product key is purchased there, so I believe there should be no complications. I performed multiple Kaspersky total scans and Malwarebytes checks, and nothing suspicious was detected. The freezing issue also occurred after upgrading to a new SSD in January, whereas previous Windows versions with older HDDs worked fine.
Check if there is a recent firmware release for your SSD and consider updating it.
