Hello, I recently upgraded my PC and purchased several components: a new graphics card (5080), a new case from Lian Li Evo 011 RGB with RGB lighting, seven wireless LCD fans, and seven standard fans. All other parts remain unchanged. After the upgrade, I've experienced freezing issues where the computer shuts down after a few hours of use. Sometimes it lasts up to two hours, other times it can extend to six hours before stopping. It eventually freezes, but it seems unrelated to what I do while using the machine.

I've tried stress testing the CPU with CineBench for 30 minutes on multiple cores and didn't see any freezing. For the GPU, FurMark ran for 15 minutes without triggering a shutdown. I also bought a wattage meter to check if my PSU was providing enough power. During the stress test, it showed 550 watts, which is higher than my 850W PSU, so that doesn't seem to be the cause.

I've opened Event Viewer and found a critical error related to Armoury Crate. I attempted reinstalling it but it didn't help. Drivers were re-installed on NVIDIA, yet freezing still occurs. I noticed yellow warning symbols before freezing, which read: "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application..."

My PC shows no signs of overheating or excessive CPU/GPU usage—temperatures stay between 50-65 degrees, with around 60-70% load on both. The specs are:

- Motherboard: ASUS HERO VIII WIFI
- CPU: Ryzen 9 5950X (360mm)
- RAM: G.Skill DDR4 3600MHz, 32GB (4 x 8GB)
- Storage: 4TB Samsung SSD Gen 4
- GPU: ASUS ROG RTX 5080
- Fans: 7 Lian Li LCD wireless + 3 NZXT fans
- PSU: Corsair 850W

I'm unsure what might be causing the freeze. Could there have been a damage during installation? Also, could the fan controllers or the LCD be contributing to the problem?

How long do you own this storage device? Have you inspected your RAM modules? (noticed a change after removing one) What is the version of your operating system? Have you encountered any problems with it? Are there any signs of malware? Is your BIOS current?

I've been using the same storage for about two months, which coincided with my computer reset after the build. When I restarted the system post-build, I encountered error code 55, so I didn’t touch the RAM sticks. I’m running Windows 11 Pro and don’t have much experience with BIOS—planning to check it later for updates.

I verify the release. I was using 3800x64 at the time. Now I upgraded to 5002 x64. Let's see if that makes a difference, though it's frustrating to debug and spend a few hours testing. Well, that's the plan.

I face the same issue consistently, it freezes unpredictably after a few minutes sometimes hours after turning on and requires heavy usage for normal operation. The hardware specs are GPU: rx9070, RAM: 2x16 GB DDR5 at 6000MHz, CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D, storage: Kingston 2TB NVMe SSD, motherboard: Gigabyte B650 gaming X-AX v2 with slow Wi-Fi. Everything is up to date including BIOS.

Consider documenting the issue and potential solutions using Performance Monitor to uncover more information about the problem. It could help determine whether the issue stems from software or hardware.

It operated for 12 hours yesterday and about 6 hours now, with no problems. It looks like the BIOS update resolved the issue.
