Hii guys, i finally got my new pc , but there is a wire than is unplugged , where does it go to? I haven't gotten the monitor yet, and tried to plug it into a TV, but didn't work(i plugged the hdmi in the gpu and one in the tv) i used a random Sony hdmi cable , is that the problem?
This appears to be the 12VHPWR connector for your GPU. Could you tell me the exact model you're using? Also, please share a photo of the GPU inside the system so I can confirm the setup.
It doesn't work because the device isn't receiving the signal properly or there might be an issue with the connection.
Generally, it's better to use two separate power connectors rather than one with two connectors. However, most systems can still start and run smoothly with just two power connectors on a single cable—just a higher chance of instability. If you're seeing no issues at all, it's unlikely the problem lies there.
The TV has HDMI 1 and 2 ports, but neither was displaying anything on the screen.
