keyboard and mouse work best for aiming. yet god seems tough with driving! keyboard buttons don’t change resistance, just on or off. so you’re either fully on or not at all, same with steering.

Make sure your moves aren't caught by Track Mania gamers. Those games often have controls designed mainly for keyboard use.

I use a controller with aim assist in GTA, while I usually play shooters with a mouse and keyboard. GTA was designed for controllers, so aiming assist makes it more accessible.

I enjoyed the controller in Nitronic Rush, but it doesn't work well in other titles. I'm now using KB+M instead.

The controller includes an aim-assist feature similar to what consoles offer. When I tested it on the PS3, I played in lobbies without aiming, and since movement alone was enough, the aim assistance didn't help much.

I’ll play with a controller. GTA is an enjoyable game, not a tough competitive FPS demanding intense reflexes like a chipmunk on cocaine. Just pick what feels comfortable for you. I’ll be lounging on my sofa with the Xbox controller connected to my PC.

I prefer using a controller since I often go offroading or drive, but I also use one for LCPDFR because it's simpler to operate.

Mouse precision is essential, especially without any acceleration. The Keyb+Mouse cover suits about 80% of my gaming tasks, while the Trackmania Controller/Wheel handles the remaining 20% where I play more than I move. I’m excited about GTA5 if mouse help isn’t forced upon it.
