The CPU fan increases steadily at set times and you're wondering about the cause and solution. It seems this behavior started around a week ago. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Check your CPU temperatures and usage with hwinfo64 and Task Manager. This helps identify issues like a faulty fan, poor thermal paste, or a stuck cooler, as well as apps consuming excessive CPU power. Tracking these details guides the right troubleshooting steps.

The device continues running even when you're inactive, which prevents it from entering sleep mode. This behavior might be due to background processes or settings.

You mentioned earlier what steps to take, but I still need more details. It seems like a resource-heavy app might be running in the background.

I managed to get everything saved, but I’m really confused about how to use this program.

a background microsoft app was running, and after closing it things improved, but now using it or switching tabs causes excessive cpu consumption without any apparent reason.

Ensure hwinfo64 operates in sensors-only mode to view all relevant sensors such as power, temperature, voltage, and fan speeds. Observe the CPU temperature sensors grouped together. In Task Manager, arrange by CPU usage and identify applications that consume significant resources sporadically—this is typical behavior.

Yes, [Very high] power consumption is acceptable for Google Chrome when you have just three tabs active.

It's unusual in itself. What are you actually doing with it?
