I own an HP PreBuild featuring a motherboard I can't identify. It includes a 4-pin connector for the CPU and general power. The system runs an Intel i7 10700F and has an 1660 Ti chipset.

Which HP prebuilt model are you talking about? For the 4-pin connector, you don't need to change a 20+4-pin to an 8-pin and then back to 4-pin. Use one adapter or confirm the specific pinouts on the proprietary connectors.
