I'd say it runs at around 9900k, possibly a non-K version. Offers better single-core performance compared to 2700x and is similar to 3700x, but slower than 10700k or 9900k. Also, multithreaded performance lags behind 3700x.

I owned that CPU (i7-9800X) and it really outperformed my i7-4790K. It worked well in general, but I aimed to upgrade to the top options available for X299 so it could be put away later. Running games with it alongside a RTX 2080 at 2560 x1440 resolution gave solid results.

It probably won't work in higher resolutions. It should perform well at larger sizes.

You’ll get plenty of room with that processor and the 3070. It didn’t cause any issues for me.
