I just put in a brand new Zotac RTX 3080 Trinity OC 10GB and noticed something strange. Every time I power off and turn it back on, the screen doesn’t appear even though everything seems to be working fine. When I press the reset button on my case, it restarts and shows a display again. I thought I fixed it yesterday, but found an old YouTube video about disabling the fast boot option in Windows settings. That helped temporarily—I just turned it off without using the reset and it worked. Today the problem seems to return. I’m not sure what to do anymore; my drivers are all up to date, checked my BIOS for a similar setting but it didn’t help. My system specs: CPU Ryzen 7 5800X, motherboard Asus Rog Strix B550-F, RAM G Skill RipJaws V 32GB DDR4 3600GHz, GPU Zotac RTX 3080 Trinity OC 10GB, PSU Evga Supernova 1000 GT, monitor Odyssey G9.
I tested it today and it functioned initially, but after a few hours away and returning, it still requires pressing the restart button to activate the display.
