Hello, I’m facing a significant issue with my Bluetooth earphones. When I connect to Discord calls or play games like GTA 5, the audio quality drops sharply, making it sound like a poor microphone is being used. It feels like the sound quality is much worse than what you’d expect from your device. This problem occurred after upgrading to Windows 11 and also on Windows 10. I have two channels in the Sounds app—one labeled "FIIIL T1 PRO Stereo" (good sound) and another called "Hands-free." When the stereo channel was set as default, calls and games didn’t work properly. Switching it to "Hands-free" resolved the issue, but changing it back to stereo caused the problem again. Additionally, opening a game makes my browser mute. On Windows 11, only one channel remains active, yet the audio still suffers. I’m confused about why this keeps happening and feel frustrated. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Windows could be silently muting audio for programs during voice calls. Verify the Communications section has "do nothing" selected to turn off this "useful" setting.
Sorry to hear that. It seemed like the audio quality didn’t improve at all. I thought maybe the issue was temporary, but after the call ended, it returned to normal. I’m still trying to find a fix.
I own a Z590 TOMAHAWK. I hadn't examined it before, but I believe it holds some value. I plan to check it out and explore its possibilities.
Update: I disabled microphone from these earbuds and now it works, but then again, I cannot use the microphone now... It appears that the issue is within the microphone. I suppose there is no real solution to that problem, so I must buy separate microphone (which I plan anyways). Thanks for the help.
