I own a prebuilt that functioned well for two years. It operated flawlessly when I powered it down, but after restarting the morning following the power button press, nothing happened. After removing every part except the CPU and reassembling, it spins the fans briefly before shutting off again. If you require any images, I’m happy to share them.

Capacitors might fail in the PSU or motherboard. It’s wise to remove the ATX power connector and verify the voltages.

You noticed it started working after replacing the extra seta cables. It seems the issue might be related to the power delivery, possibly from the PSU providing limited power. The system comes with a 10th gen i5 processor without integrated graphics and an 8GB RAM stick, all powered by a 360-watt supply.

I share his thoughts, you should definitely have a spare PSU if you can. Install one and see how it performs with the power plugged in. If it starts working, it probably means a capacitor failed in the PSU, which could explain why some components like fans get power but shut off quickly—this is often a fail-safe signal, such as a faulty RAM stick or improper CPU installation. The last time this happened to me was with my water block; it stopped working after a blockage prevented water flow. I tested everything for days and tried various fixes. Eventually, replacing the old CPU cooler resolved the issue. I also experienced PSU failures, and swapping the power supply helped. Bad RAM or incorrect installation by users are other possibilities too. Just narrow down the cause step by step.

I didn’t consider that or ask for it. It could definitely be that. Your setup doesn’t seem to use a lot of energy, but you can check the components I linked using CPUz on https://pcpartpicker.com/ and see if there are any issues with power usage or performance.

I've handled this situation prior and it suggested a minimum of 500w.

Unfortunately, I don't have extra PSUs. The process of elimination was what I was aiming for initially, but I noticed that the only thing I'd be concerned about is if something got damaged. Anyway, it's working now, though I'm not sure how. (Side note: "wallah" means "I swear to Allah" in Arabic. Voilà is the French way of saying look at this)
