hello everyone, i'm facing a big issue with ram speed. after upgrading the cpu, my latency improved and write speed increased, especially with multi-core support. i plan to share bios settings screenshots soon. the original benchmarks are here: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46448782 and https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46656488. after updating the bios, ram performance actually got worse – see https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46657115. i ran xmp 2.0 profile at 3200mhz with dual channel, but it didn't fix the problem. no, it's not a cpu issue.

You didn't re-activate XMP following the CPU upgrade. The CPU-Z readings show it's operating at 2133MHz, which suggests XMP isn't turned on.

i used it as a reference. i ran the cpu on another system with double 16gb ram and achieved over 30 gb write speeds. i’m not familiar with other tests, but i’m focused on reliable performance. i spotted an issue with the ram speed and plan to adjust it before redoing the bios screenshots. the feature is active in bios as shown.

Adjust the memory speed yourself, as it seems XMP wasn't working. It's currently running at 2133MT/s instead of the expected 3200MT/s from the CPU-Z screenshots.

I adjusted manually to 3200mhz and slightly increased the latency settings since the system seemed tough to boot. The most recent screenshots are available here: https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipOr...lQZmtKazln user benchmark still claims RAM is problematic. At least the BIOS update improved SSD speeds, and using 3200mhz helped a bit. https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/46657882

The issue may stem from latency being significantly greater than typical 3200MHz memory kits, possibly causing the warning. It's unclear why it flags higher latency than expected beyond that general observation.

what are some ways to reduce latency? you might need a specific configuration to achieve lower latency. it seems your current settings are around 60ns with poor write performance, but write speeds have improved while latency remains similar. maybe there’s a setting that affects this. to test memory speeds outside user benchmarks, you can use specialized tools or commands that measure throughput and latency independently. as far as I understand, multicore write speeds should outperform single-core, but it doesn’t seem to be the case for you.

Passmark stands out among reputable providers. Reducing timings lowers latency.

is this good or there is room for improvement?

It's pretty good. I wouldn't bother trying to improve it.
