Issues with Windows updates occurring.
Hi everyone, seeking guidance from someone with more technical expertise. My MSI 72rd Leopard laptop is running Windows 10 version 1903. I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 21H2, but each time the update installs, my computer restarts and then the update fails, returning me to version 1903. Even after performing a factory reset and reinstalling Windows, the problem continues. I'm encountering a blue screen with the error code "WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR." Please assist me.
I utilized this service for gradual updates on older systems. Reference: https://www.google.com/amp/s/wccftech.co...iso-files/ Guide on GitHub: https://gist.github.com/AveYo/c74dc774a8...5613187b15 It works well. Offers many past versions, letting you upgrade step by step rather than jumping from very old to the latest.
You can get the latest Windows version by performing a fresh installation through this method. Simply download the installation media, place it on an empty USB drive, and follow the setup instructions. Did you try this approach, and did you encounter any issues with the system startup?
I've attempted this again, but the blue screen persists and I'm encountering the error "IQRL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL."
Thank you. Successfully ran 1909, but anything beyond this causes crashes upon reboot. Requested an IQRL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL alert for the blue screen. Verified drivers in devices and hardware—none display errors. Additional tips?
Consider using a system file checker. You can link to the update service then examine your existing files for comparison and repair. In command prompt (as administrator): DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth SFC /scannow Ideally it can detect bad files, but if you've already done this, the only option I can think of is to install Windows 10 on another machine and transfer it here.
