I just purchased a new PC and am having trouble installing Windows. A fresh download from Windows keeps failing at 1% due to the error code ox8007025d. I’m not very tech-savvy, but I have some basic understanding.

Did you create your own Windows 10/11 installation USB drive? Did you rely on Microsoft's Windows Media Creation Tool? I've seen that issue before...it usually indicates a corrupted install media—you'll need to regenerate it. What type of USB drive are you using? (16GB or 64GB?) Also, ensure UEFI Mode is turned on in your motherboard's BIOS settings. CSM / Legacy Mode should be off. You might also need to disable Secure Boot and Fast Boot, then re-enable them after the installation completes.

I used the Windows Media Tool on a 2TB USB drive and will adjust the settings. I’ll try again once I have a fresh Windows download. Thank you for the assistance!
