Hi, I hope someone can assist. My friend's PC is having many problems; the desktop is extremely slow to respond. When he attempts a right-click, it hangs for a long time before showing the menu. The taskbar also disappears after clicking, though other features remain functional. This behavior hasn't been seen before—please help if possible. Thanks!

It seems the hard drive might be malfunctioning. Are you hearing any distinct clicking sounds while using the computer?

It might be a software problem. OP should ask their friend to install adwcleaner, download FRST, and submit logs through a shared link or pastebin.

Sorry for the long wait. After experimenting with the device, I believe it was a faulty SATA cable linked to the hard drive. Appreciate your assistance!
