I just partially finished my new system, and i'm having a couple of issues with windows 8. I have a 1080p 60hz 40" TV, and when i set the screen res to 1920x1080 (native res) the screen is a bit too large for the TV. (the sides are getting cut off) And the only way that i can see the screen properly is to set the screen res to 1280x1024 (NOT native res) Another problem is that i cant connect to the ethernet cable (could be a hardware problem?), basically it says "Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. If you have a network adapter, you will need to re-install the driver." I'm not sure what to do here. The last real problem that i have is that my product key won't work. I bought a win 8 product key like a year ago to dual boot my mac, and on my custom rig it isn't working. (worked fine with the dual boot) My current build (using intel integrated graphics until the 800/900? series comes out in september) : http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Hk2XVn

1) Which television is it? Is it smart or not? Does it have an auto-adjust option in its TV settings?
2) The CD with the motherboard includes LAN drivers; you’ll need to add them for internet access.
3) Is your Mac still using the same key, or did you remove Windows from it?

It's silly, and that's why I didn't check the TV menu instead of the windows menu. -- Fixed, derp
I lack an optical drive :c
I removed the partition, so the key should function properly? Perhaps I should contact Microsoft support.

1) Haha  2) If you have another PC, visit the website of your motherboard maker, locate your board, and check for downloads that include all the necessary drivers. If you don’t have another PC, you’ll need to purchase an external or internal optical drive, which is usually under $20. 3) Just give them a call and ask if they can help— they’ll know what’s wrong with it.

Yes, you simply transfer all the Windows 8 drivers to a USB drive and connect it to your new Mac.

Confirm the correct drivers for your motherboard, and it should function properly.
