I recently set up Windows 7 Ultimate and am stuck with ongoing driver updates. I'm dealing with a tricky setup involving multiple components. After installing Windows on RAID0, the installation fails with an error stating it couldn't complete. I discovered a workaround by using Cmd Prompt and entering specific commands to bypass the issue, which allowed me to proceed. However, getting the Ethernet driver installed from the disk remains problematic. I encountered a Windows update error because the service wasn't running, and further attempts to install .NET failed due to the same driver issue. I've spent considerable time searching forums and tutorials without success. Please assist me.

Have you explored another Windows installation file?

I don't have a single solution. I might try to obtain a copy through piracy, but I favor using authorized software.

It seems you missed installing your RAID controller drivers during Windows installation. Follow Gabriel Carvfer's advice. On the setup screen in Windows 7, insert your USB with the extracted drivers or your motherboard disk, then click the "Load Driver" link.

Did you configure the ports for your SSD in the BIOS? - Sometimes UEFI boot settings don't support RAID, you might need to try it in legacy mode.

I'm restarting now. I updated the SATA drivers during setup, which wasn't done before. It's not the latest version since it came from my motherboard disk. I'll make the update after installation completes. Thanks for your prompt replies everyone.

I restored Windows and added all the 9-series SATA drivers during setup. These are the ones included with my motherboard, not the latest versions. The system still can't update.

If you skip the RAID configuration, it should function properly? Let's begin with that.

It happened a few days back. The previous attempt was blocked by a bunch of problems when trying to clone my OS. I'm going to move it to one drive and check again.

Avoid copying data. It seldom succeeds, particularly with HDD to SSD conversions—only a rare occurrence. You shouldn't clone; instead, create a full system image. A fresh setup always delivers better results.
