I've just learned about a problem where coolers get warped against the CPU over time. If you have a 12Th CPU, let me know if you've seen this happen or noticed it yourself. Also share the motherboard model you're using!

The result seems linked to the cooler you choose, since most non-stock coolers include reinforced back plates. It raises an intriguing thought—what will I notice in a few years with my 5900X setup? I had to admit, I was doubtful at first, imagining a massive Rubix cube (Scythe Mugen 5) resting sideways on my board.

I’m considering using the Deepcool Ak120, which is a 120mm air cooler, and I’m not sure it would add too much weight to the stage. Hopefully that’s okay.

I'm considering installing a support wire and others say their standard configuration works fine. Aftermarket coolers offer better performance, so a more expensive option is likely more stable.
