I don't know if this is the correct location, but if you can assist would be very helpful.
My HP keyboard (not brand new) was functioning properly before I powered off the PC for the night.
The following day, some keys and the space bar stopped working, with only a few responding as one.
Pressing Keys A, S, and the left shift produced "AS" in uppercase or required pressing again to get lowercase. They worked together even when the left shift was engaged.
Page up and down functions also failed.
The numpad 7 through 9 had issues.
I tried a solution I applied, and it resolved most problems except for the space bar and the "M commas dot and slash" key.
I don't remember dropping water on the keyboard, but after cleaning it with a soft cloth, everything started working correctly except for the space bar and the M key.
Could you help fix the remaining keys and space bar?
HP has numerous keyboards available, and you can identify the model by checking the sticker at the bottom of the keyboard to obtain the SKU. Does this keyboard cause the same problem when connected to a donor system? If yes, then replacement may be necessary (unless it's a mechanical keyboard).
I observed the strip inside the PCB connector and it appears to be in good condition. However, I didn't remove it from there by mistake.
