Hello everyone, I just assembled my initial PC featuring a Ryzen 5 5600X and an MSI B550 Gaming Plus. Check out the remaining components here: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/OtisIsABozo/saved/CxT6Q7 The setup proceeded without major issues, and I was eager to power it up. When I turned it on, the RGB lights on my CPU cooler, motherboard, and RAM activated, while the Deepcool fans remained off. The only missing part was the fan control unit, which I connected to its included RGB controller. The motherboard itself has diagnostic LEDs, and after switching it on, the CPU indicator stayed lit. I suspected a BIOS problem since flashing the BIOS would be necessary for this specific processor with this board, but I had already sent the motherboard back under RMA for updates after my troubleshooting attempts. I followed some online guides and tried disassembling parts, removing the cooler, but nothing resolved the issue. When I connected a monitor via the graphics card’s HDMI port, there was no display output. It’s possible I accidentally damaged the motherboard while installing the CPU cooler, as that was the component I struggled with most. There seems to be no visible harm to the board itself. Could you please assist? If you have any suggestions, could you provide more detailed guidance? I’ve been passionate about PC building for years, but I’m definitely not an expert in this area.
