Evening all,
Today I got my new parts: a Ryzen 9 9900x3d, an Asus X870A gaming WiFi board, and a gskill Trident Z neo RGB kit at 6000mhz.
At first setup I had no boot, no BIOS, nothing. After updating the BIOS it worked. Then I faced another problem—Windows wouldn’t boot because “no bootable drives are detected.” That was similar to my old PC; I had to turn on UEFI/legacy due to a specific partition. Now I’m seeing a black screen, no boot to BIOS, until I clear the CMOS.
I’ve tried disabling the resizable bar, using UEFI only, legacy only, but nothing changed.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I concur with helpstar and others who suggest a fresh installation of Windows. Share your full system specifications so that we can provide accurate guidance. Verify your hardware connections, re-seat all components, and ensure the power and SATA cables are properly connected. For reinstalling Windows, keep only the C: drive linked to SATA Port 1. After your motherboard powers on and boots into Windows, after installing all system drivers and updates, you may then add your secondary drives. Are you setting up Windows 11 24H2? Kindly let me know. Thank you.
