I built the following components: i9 13900K, Deepcool LT720 AIO (swapped fans for Lian Li AL120 V2s), Asus ProArt Z790 Creator, 32GB x 2 Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5-6600, Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB NVME, Zotac Trinity OC RTX 3090, Hyte Y60, Asus ROG Strix 1000W PSU (swapped), two Lian Li AL120 V2 140mms fans, four Lian Li AL120 V2 120mms fans (three on radiator, one in case), and two stock Hyte 120mm fans.

I carefully followed all instructions, checked the manual thoroughly, and tried different settings but still faced issues. When powering on, I noticed intermittent switching between orange (RAM) and white (VGA) indicators. Removing AsiaHorse white cable extensions helped, allowing posting and enabling Windows 11 Pro. However, after updating BIOS with XMP, the system stopped posting consistently and would crash after short browsing sessions.

Later, I reset the BIOS using a jumper on the clear CMOS header, which switched the no-post indicator from orange to white. Now the white VGA LED stays on without issues. I’m still seeking advice on this matter. Thanks for your help!

Connect your monitor to the mainboard HDMI output, which should fix the VGA debug LED problem. In BIOS, it usually resolves the CSM on/off switch setting. If you have a displayport, the GPU might need this displayport patch. The link provided may not work with your AIB card; in that case, reach out to Zotac support as they only handle re-bar updates. Edit: the update link was incorrect.

I used integrated graphics with the latest ME firmware and BIOS, then attempted the Nvidia update. The white light activates now but the screen remains blank. I’ll reach out to Zotac for assistance in resolving this issue.

What you referred to as a re-bar update likely involves updating the display driver or related software components to ensure proper functionality of the graphics card.

I connected the graphics card and used integrated graphics for an update with the nvidia displayport patch. After finishing, the screen remained blank, so I powered it off and reinserted it into integrated graphics while keeping the RTX 3090 in place to check for a sound problem because my wireless speakers wouldn’t connect. In about half a minute after restarting the RTX 3090, the fans accelerated and the temperature rose above 100 degrees under light use (just browsing). I’m trying to figure out what might have caused this.
