Using a PS2 mouse and keyboard works fine. Occasionally, USB mice and keyboards require drivers for proper function.

They function flawlessly in the bios, working well with both a mouse and a keyboard.

Mainly use USB 3.0 devices. Look for affordable PS2 mice and keyboards on eBay. You might need a USB to PS2 adapter, though some motherboards only support one or no PS2 ports.

Sure, the issue seems to be with Windows rather than your keyboard. Since it's a USB device, the BIOS might not have any issues, but Windows could be trying to mimic a cheaper PS2 keyboard.

Absolutely, you're welcome. Just look through the BIOS settings for a fix, or try a different mouse and keyboard if needed.

You might be facing an issue with the missing USB to PS/2 adapter. Check if your case includes USB 2 ports. Consider using those instead. It appears the motherboard only has USB 3 ports, which could be the cause. Sometimes restarting and plugging in again helps (this applies when only USB 3 is present).

I realized you need to turn on the PS/2 setting in the advanced BIOS options (USB configuration directory). Don’t worry, these issues aren’t affecting others. After installing Windows, it fails to recognize the Ethernet cable, so the connection isn’t working. Assistance needed.

You must install the LAN driver before proceeding. Download the newest version from the mobo website and connect via USB to your PC. Alternatively, use the CD included with the mobo product.
