Issues with the laptop's performance.
Hello everyone! I've noticed some unusual behavior with my laptop lately, which has been a bit puzzling. I'll try to explain everything in detail. It's an HP Pavilion Gaming laptop (Ryzen 5, Gtx1650). Recently, it's been acting slowly during shutdowns, restarts, and startup phases. Occasionally, it would display a green screen for a brief moment before launching Windows. The error code seems related to memory issues.
It was sent for an SSD and RAM upgrade, but the person handling it didn't complete the work. It took about three weeks for the laptop to be returned after I contacted a lawyer due to his unresponsiveness. Now, regarding my concerns:
- Since the upgrade, the laptop has become less responsive and strange. I discovered numerous odd programs and software.
- Many drivers and updates have disappeared or are marked suspicious.
- Several entries in Device Manager don't make sense.
- Some software or drivers have vanished entirely.
- Several keyboard keys are missing.
The main issues I'm seeing are:
1. Random green screens.
2. Minimal speed improvement after booting.
3. Overheating, reaching temperatures up to 95°C during gaming or heavy use.
4. Missing drivers and potentially unsafe ones.
My suspicion is that the problem lies in some of these questionable drivers and software. To address this, I downloaded a script called "tron," which is designed to remove bloatware and malware. It should help clean up the system. Unfortunately, it hasn't resolved the core problems.
The biggest concern is that the laptop might have been tampered with, possibly without my knowledge. When it was returned, I assumed it needed a full reset to its original state.
I'm willing to try any solution and would appreciate suggestions from anyone who might help restore my laptop to normal functioning. This machine is valuable, and I'm determined not to let it fail.
