Issues with the BIOS setup or functionality.
I just assembled a new PC with a Gigabyte B650 Eagle AX and a Ryzen 5 7600x3D. After completing the build, I tested everything to ensure it worked properly. When I tried updating the BIOS, my mouse and keyboard stopped functioning after a few seconds, sometimes instantly or after a short delay. I checked all USB ports—both internal and front panel—and none worked. It seems something in the BIOS might have been altered, causing the issue. I’ve attempted to reset it back to the original settings, but I couldn’t do so quickly enough. Any suggestions for resolving this?
I examined all visible connections; the motherboard LED stays on continuously during boot, showing no issues with other parts and everything appears in the BIOs. At first, and as I’ve observed, now it’s the same. The display seems to freeze instead of peripherals failing, with static numbers remaining unchanged. Could this be a CPU problem?
