I recently switched from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and am encountering an issue with Grand Theft Auto V. Fast textures appear less sharp and certain objects vanish (such as trees, buildings, roads). Many have reported similar problems, but I've tried various fixes—changing paging files, adjusting game priority, tweaking scaling settings, and more. My system specs are: CPU – AMD Athlon II X2 260 Dual Core (3.2 GHz), GPU – AMD Radeon HD 6570, 6GB DDR3 RAM. Although my CPU is only dual-core and doesn’t meet the game’s minimum requirements, it ran smoothly at about 30 fps on low settings in Windows 7. If anyone on Windows 10 has a stable GTA 5 experience, please share your results. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

He and your other computer have nearly identical specs, but his system runs on an AMD Phenom II X4 945. The CPU performance might differ slightly due to the processor model.

It seems your system's RAM, CPU, or HDD isn't fast enough for GPU loading. The issue might have appeared after upgrading to Windows 10. You might want to reinstall GPU drivers. Also, consider switching DirectX from DX11 to DX10 in the settings.

You're currently utilizing DX10 within the game environment.

Consider reinstalling the drivers. It might be just a hardware issue, especially if you haven’t performed similar steps in GTA V before at that location.

Try lowering the quality to observe any improvements.

I made the change. A fresh setup would have been preferable, but the upgrade was free. Could this be the issue?

Most often, issues with Windows 10 stem from not performing a clean installation.
