Is anyone else experiencing this problem? It seems like I'm likely the only one with a high-end GPU who's facing similar issues. I've read other reports, even from Nvidia products, about frame drops and stuttering. One example involved a 1070 model maintaining the same FPS as my 290X across all settings (often dropping to 20-30 even on low). A patch was said to resolve it, but it only helped lower-end cards. After reinstalling drivers twice and completely wiping them out, it still didn't improve things. I can't even play the game twice without crashes—forcing a full PC restart before launching now causes it to fail again. I really enjoy the game, but Turn 10, MS, and Playground need serious fixes. Their claim of being built for PC is clearly overstated at this point.

No issues with my 980. The lack of SLi is disappointing, but it's a Microsoft store title—expected that way.

What kind of FPS does it provide? Do you notice any stuttering or frame drops near 30 FPS? Regarding stability, are there any crashes or unusual bugs?

Previously, I experienced something similar; occasionally the performance dropped to around 20 frames per second using an i7 4790K and GTX1070.

Exactly, you're the same person I mentioned earlier. The same setup, identical issue.

Performance hasn't been perfect lately. Early this morning the game felt almost impossible to play, but after updating to the Nvidia driver yesterday it worked again. The rest of yesterday and today have kept frame rates above 50 FPS, though I noticed more drops under 50 yesterday. This morning it was tough to go beyond about 30 frames per second. A driver patch fixed that for now. Still unsure if it will last, but at least it’s holding up temporarily. Rumors suggest a memory management problem—seems the game thinks shared memory is working and is causing issues with system memory.

You might try taking steps to address the situation directly or seeking support from others involved.

It seems uncertain. We’re largely dependent on the developers now.

I maintain a stable performance above 30 FPS at 1080p using Ultra with 2x MSAA. Typically stays around 80 FPS, occasionally dropping to the mid-50s in dense environments. No crashes or unusual issues have occurred.

They didn't create it entirely from scratch. It seems the Fortnite Apex game FH3 was adapted for PC fairly smoothly, especially when looking back.
