You encountered an annoying issue where Steam automatically enables controller emulation for games like AC Black Flag/Watch Dogs, even though they support controllers natively. This causes both emulated and real keyboard inputs to conflict, leading to UI glitches. The main goal is to prevent Steam from using controller emulation when playing on an Xbox 360 controller.

Check for any external programs or drivers in use. I could recommend removing the drivers and restarting. Also, could you tell me the specific Windows version you're running?

You're referring to third-party drivers, but the real issue lies in the Steam controller emulation. When the game isn't linked to Steam, I can resolve it. For the two non-Steam titles, I need guidance on turning off the controller emulation.

You followed the same approach as intended in certain games and it functions well with a 360 controller. Open settings, select the controller, and experiment with the adjustments.
