I was thinking about using an external sound source, so I followed that route. But something unusual appeared. When trying to use the built-in audio recently, the 10Gb NIC would sometimes fail to appear connected during startup and would connect eventually, though at a slower speed. Once I turned off the onboard sound, the problem disappeared. It seems Asus might have made too many changes to their PCIe setup, or maybe I misaligned pins while installing the CPU.

I'm encountering similar problems with other users on ProArt. I'm also seeing others on previous ProArt versions and on MSI's Godlike boards, including the Marvell AQtion NIC. One person shared a potential solution.

Thank you for the feedback, at least I understand it's a typical issue instead of a major problem with my board.
