I recently reduced my GPU specs. The first game I played was BF3, which functioned properly before. Now it’s running poorly—constant stuttering in menus, loading screens, and the game itself. Adjusting settings didn’t help; performance is at its lowest possible. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing changed. Any suggestions?

I upgraded from a 770 to an AMD 7700 lineup. Now I have 8GB RAM running Windows 8 with the AMD 6100 chipset.

It's often said that switching from an Nvidia to an AMD card can be tricky, even after cleaning up drivers and registry entries, because performance tends to suffer. On the other hand, moving from an AMD to an Nvidia usually works smoothly. However, for your specific situation, you might need to reformat the drive and reinstall Windows to achieve the best results.

The system didn't provide a clear reason for the downgrade.
