Issues with slow asset loading when using an SSD in GTA 5
Hello!
I’m facing a serious issue with GTA 5. All the textures load extremely slowly, sometimes disappearing or appearing as low-poly versions. The audio quality is also poor—after entering the car, it took nearly 30 seconds for the engine sounds to appear. Many other assets are problematic. It’s really frustrating. The game feels much less playable now compared to when I played on a hard drive.
My system specs:
MSI H87-G43 (MS-7816)
Intel Core i5-4690 | 3,50GHz
AMD Radeon R9 380 Series
Ballistix 8GB (2x4GB) | DDR3 1600MHz
Crucial MX500 500GB
I don’t want to lower the settings. The game worked fine on an HDD before, but now it’s unstable. With an SSD I expected smooth performance, but FPS is inconsistent and assets behave erratically. Please help.

try adding more ram. if it performed better with an hdd instead of an ssd, that might indicate an issue.
