Your new setup is experiencing unexpected awakenings even after you turned off the extra devices. The issue might still be linked to network adapters or other background processes. Could you check if any new drivers or updates are needed?

Consider setting up regular defragmentation or backups, and perhaps checking for updates as well.

Defects are set to occur every week, without any backups or updates. I turned it off already, but the issue remains unchanged.

This usually stems from poor drivers, old software, or a faulty program. It might also require updating the BIOS.

It could also be the mouse. I usually set it up so the keyboard can wake it. In Device Manager, I review each item one by one. However, you can run the command prompt and type: powercfg -lastwake, which will show you the last device or software that triggered your PC to wake up.

I did it before, it stated "network adapters" but now it doesn't state anything. Updated everything. I restarted the computer and now it can sleep, although at times the fan does kick in but switches off after a minute or two. Any other advice?

The fan starts moving when it's attempting to shut down...this could indicate overheating or a broken fan.

Remove dust and old thermal paste, then apply again. Take out the entire case to verify each fan is functioning properly.
