benchmark performed smoothly with no major score decline. Temperatures were acceptable too. It seems the issue might be related to the AMD component, though I'm still uncertain. I've even reinstalled the graphics drivers multiple times without success.

It seems you're considering stability when testing your overclock. It might have been run at a higher voltage for better performance. Regarding the game, Skyrim uses DirectX 9, and I'm unsure how recent NVidia drivers affect it. I recall my GTX 960 sometimes displayed strange flashing orbs with certain drivers, but not others.

Consider a different driver you were comfortable with and observe the experience.

I noticed you didn't include the details about rolling back drivers, but it seems your previous action had no impact.

Ya I really don't see any other solution, may just have to wait for an update or try a different voltage on the oc like you said.

It's fine, thank you for your support—it really helped and wasn't wasted!

Before making any changes, ensure your overclock is stable using benchmarking tools. Prioritize validation after adjusting settings. Most users perform this step right away. It appears you haven’t encountered problems with other titles, so any issues likely relate to software or GPU drivers. Which game version are you running? I recall some recent Steam updates that may have added patches not included in official Bethesda releases.

You can find the installed game version by checking the application settings or using the built-in tools provided by the game. If you let me know the platform (PC, console, etc.), I can give you more specific instructions.
