Issues with Shadowplay and Kraken 7.1
I'm facing an issue with Shadowplay. After trying everything for the past few days, the audio quality remains poor and metallic even when unplugged. The problem persists across two videos—one from Reddit and one I made myself. I didn't modify anything in Adobe Premiere; I just recorded straight from Shadowplay and added text. I disabled the startup Kraken 7.1 Chroma APO Helper, but the volume dropped significantly without fixing the issue. Nvidia support hasn't helped, and I'm unsure how to resolve it. I really like this headset and don't want to change it. You're my last option.
USB version 2.0 seems likely. I saw discussions online suggesting the 7.1 model might cause that poor sound quality, possibly because Shadowplay isn’t compatible with it. It could also be Synapse’s driver conflicting with Shadowplay’s audio codec. I really don’t understand what’s going on and it’s giving me a headache.
