Hello, yesterday I purchased a new system, Supermicro X7DAE, with 24GB DDR2 RAM and two EMEON E5420 processors at 2.50 GHz. Now I’m facing an issue because Windows 10 isn’t installing, the system doesn’t support its instruction set, can’t even run Windows 8 or 7 since they don’t support dual processors. I just want to play games and use it for other tasks, not set up a server. Can I still install Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 on this machine? Sorry for the poor English, I’m from the Netherlands, Micha de Vries.

Maybe check for a specific version of Windows on the server. That seems like the only approach I could consider.

However, if you wish to play online, you prefer not to initiate any server.

No, the Windows installer does not typically display an error message like that.

It doesn't really matter; Windows Server is essentially Windows enhanced with more server-focused capabilities and fewer consumer-friendly features. However, when you install a game, it guarantees you have all the necessary components to run it smoothly.

It seems you need a Windows 10 version for a server. Just one more step is required.
